What is Dhareeba Tax Registration in Qatar?

Dhareeba is the new all in one tax registration and tax operations management portal introduced by the General Tax Authority in Qatar in July 2020 as part of its digital transformation process. Dhareeba connects the General Tax Authority and its partners to the taxpayers and relevant government agencies.

It is mandatory for all companies in Qatar including the existing companies in Qatar with a valid tax card to register in the new tax portal “Dhareeba”. Dhareeba system, which is built on the SAP Management platform is meant to simplify the tax filing process for companies in a fast, transparent and accurate way.

Who is it for?

For any revenue generating economic activity in Qatar, even if it is exempted 100% from the Tax. Special entities who are eligible for refund also need to be registered in the Dhareeba electronic tax portal.

Documents Required for Tax card registration:

    1. Valid Copy of Commercial Registration
    2. Valid Copy of Trade License
    3. Copy of Articles of Association
    4. Email address and Contact details of the Tax Representative.
